Neck Lift

The neck can develop signs of aging much like the face, and in some cases, the neck can develop these effects quite early. At Rosenthal Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery, we offer neck lift procedures to help you diminish sagging skin and wrinkles in the neck area. We welcome residents from Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Wellington, FL.

What Is a Neck Lift?

A neck lift is a surgical procedure that is designed to rejuvenate the appearance of the neck. You may choose to have a neck lift to address sagging skin, wrinkles, and other signs of aging that develop in the neck. A neck lift can be an effective solution for the infamous “turkey neck” and may also help improve definition along the jawline. We commonly perform neck lifts in combination with a facelift to provide a more comprehensive facial rejuvenation.

How Much Does a Neck Lift Cost in Boynton Beach?

The cost of a neck lift will vary based on your unique needs and treatment goals. During your consultation, we take many things into consideration to design a personalized treatment plan that will optimize your results and treatment experience. Once this treatment plan is determined, we will be able to provide you with a clear breakdown of the costs associated with your neck lift procedure. At our practice, the cost of a neck lift ranges from $12,496 to $13,496.* A limited neck lift ranges from $9,600 to $10,200.* We work with various companies that specialize in financing cosmetic surgery, including CareCredit®, PatientFi®, and Yes Doctor.

What Can I Expect During the Neck Lift Procedure?

Before a neck lift, we will use anesthesia to ensure that you remain safe and comfortable throughout the treatment. During the procedure, incisions are made around the ears, and in some cases, an additional incision will be made underneath the chin. Through these incisions, excess skin and fat will be removed, and the remaining skin will be tightened to produce the desired results. A neck lift can take about two to three hours depending on the extent of surgery required.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect From a Neck Lift?

After a neck lift, you can expect some moderate swelling and bruising initially. It can take a few weeks for this swelling to dissipate and reveal the full results of treatment. Once the body heals, you will notice a smoother, tightened appearance in the neck. The results from a neck lift are long-lasting, but they do not prevent the neck from developing gradual changes due to the aging process in the future.

What Happens During Neck Lift Recovery?

Due to the invasive nature of a neck lift, you will likely have to take time away from work and other activities while you recover. Dr. Rosenthal will inform you how to care for yourself as you heal, which may include important instructions regarding hygiene, diet and daily activities.
