Double Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. David Rosenstein

As Dr. Andrew Rosenthal transitions to his new role as Medical Director of Aesthetics at Emory Healthcare and Assistant Professor of Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, double board-certified plastic surgeon David Rosenstein, MD, FACS, will continue to be available at the Boynton Beach office to provide local plastic surgery consultations and continued care for appropriately selected established patients. Dr. Rosenstein specializes in cosmetic surgery and Rosenthal Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery is pleased to welcome him to the practice.

Dr. Rosenstein joined Dr. Rosenthal in the Boynton Beach office in 2025 after maintaining a solo plastic surgery in Palm Beach County for nearly three decades. Known for his honest, conservative approach and commitment to natural-looking results, he combines extensive surgical experience with individualized treatment planning and a strong emphasis on patient education, safety, and realistic expectations.

Dr. Rosenstein earned his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his surgical training at the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, where he was twice honored as Chief Resident. He is double board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery, a distinction held by only a fraction of practicing cosmetic surgeons and one that reflects rigorous training in both general surgical foundations and specialized aesthetic technique.

Beyond his own residency training, Dr. Rosenstein completed a 2-year research fellowship in plastic surgery at UCSD, deepening his technical expertise before entering practice. He has maintained an active leadership presence in the field ever since, holding memberships with:
